• Through the Padmashali Grand Conferences, the community members across different states of India became more aware and actively participated in making several resolutions, leading to their unity. During this time, the elders decided to organize the All India Padmashali Women’s Conferences.
• On March 3, 1939, the first Women’s Conference was held as part of the All India Padmashali Grand Conference in Ahobilam, Kurnool district.
• The first Women’s Conference was presided over by Mrs. Shyamalamba, the wife of Padmashali patriarch Sri Karyampudi Venkata Krishna Kaviji.
• On May 19, 1941, a Women’s Conference was conducted alongside the 8th Grand Conference, which was presided over by Mrs. R. Rangamma, B.A., B.L.
• In 1945, the third Women’s Conference was held in Sindheva, with Mrs. Gaddam Lakshmikantamma, B.A., presiding.
• On December 20, 1980, around 800 women from various regions participated in the 11th Grand Conference held in Bengaluru. The conference was presided over by Mrs. Dheekonda Sushilabai.
• During the Bengaluru conference, with encouragement from prominent leaders like Sri Guntaka Narsayya Pantulu, Sri Konda Lakshman Bapuji, and Sri Kota Venkataramana, the All India Padmashali Women’s Association’s executive committee was formed.
• Mrs. Dheekonda Sushilabai was appointed as the president, Mrs. Gaddam Indiradevi as the secretary, Mrs. Suguna Sriramulu and Mrs. Savitri Venkataramana Rao as vice presidents, Mrs. Golla Shanthamma as the treasurer, and Mrs. Janagan Lakshmidevi as the assistant secretary. 48 women were appointed as members of the executive committee.
• Within a short time after the formation of the All India Padmashali Women’s Conference executive committee, regional conferences were organized in several areas.
• On March 18, 1981, the Royal Seema region’s Padmashali Women’s Conference was held in Ahobilam, Kurnool district. Mrs. Sheshamma presided over the event, and Mrs. Bodigela Lakshmidevi was appointed as the secretary.
• On May 1, 1982, the Women’s Conference was held in Kerala under the leadership of Mrs. T. Sukumari. Mrs. T. Rajamma was appointed as the secretary, and a committee was formed.
• On July 10, 1982, the Telangana Padmashali Women’s Conference took place under the leadership of Mrs. Leelavathi. Mrs. Bandaru Suguna Sriramulu and Mrs. Sivarathnabhai took charge of organizing the event.
• On September 18, 1982, the Tamil Nadu Padmashali Women’s Conference was held in Madras. Around 50 prominent figures, including Mrs. S.R.G. Lakshmiammal, Mrs. Nalli Alimelu, Mrs. Rukminiamma, and Mrs. Neelavathi Dasharadh, attended the meeting. The Tamil Nadu Padmashali Women’s Grand Conference was inaugurated.
• The Padmashali women across the country, through the Grand Conferences, united and worked towards abandoning barbaric practices and social evils, moving forward to raise awareness and promote social consciousness.
