Renowned Social Worker and Esteemed Padmashali Leader, Mr. Gini Ramamurthy

Mr. Gini Ramamurthy is a distinguished social worker and highly educated leader, widely respected among the Padmashali community for his dedication and multifaceted contributions. He serves as an inspiring guide for future generations. Known for his gentle speech, friendly demeanor, and unwavering commitment to service, he approaches every responsibility with discipline and a unique style.

A native of Nellore, Mr. Ramamurthy was born on June 1, 1939, to Mr. Gini Chennayya and Mrs. Subhadramma. Even as a student, he displayed remarkable leadership qualities. He holds double Master’s degrees in Economics and Political Science, along with a law degree (B.L.) and a PGDR diploma.

As the founder of Bhavana Urban Bank, he has been tirelessly serving as its chairman since 1997. He also presides over the Padmashali Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. Additionally, he has held prominent positions including Chairman of the A.P. Weavers United Front, Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Urban Banks Federation, and Director of the National Cooperative Urban Federation. Recently, he was elected President of the All India Padmashali Association.

Mr. Ramamurthy began his career in 1960 with the state government, working in the Employment Medical Services and the Printing & Stationery Department, before voluntarily retiring in 1982. He also served as the founding president of the Small and Medium Newspapers Association. Even today, he continues to actively serve in various organizations, especially in the cooperative sector.

Throughout his life, he has worked tirelessly to ensure the welfare and advancement of the Padmashali community in all fields. He and his wife, Mrs. Lakshmi Ramamurthy, a retired teacher, are blessed with two sons and two daughters.
