An Inspiration for Today’s Youth: Mr. Bale Bhoomarajam Padmashali

Mr. Bale Bhoomarajam Padmashali, a distinguished officer of the Indian Forest Service, is an inspiring figure for the Padmashali community and beyond. Known for his gentle speech, compassionate heart, dedication to the underprivileged, and tireless service, he is a source of pride for all. He hails from Chelgal village in Rayakarl Taluka, Karimnagar District, and was born on December 7, 1929, to Mr. Bale Ramayya and Mrs. Lakshminarsamma. His father served as a Patwari.

Living in the Hyderabad Padmashali Hostel, he pursued his studies through sheer self-effort. While a student at Osmania University in 1949, he actively participated in the Hyderabad State Liberation Movement and even experienced imprisonment for his involvement.

He joined the State Forest Service in 1957 and was selected for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) in 1966. He retired in 1987 as Chief Conservator of Forests at the state level. Academically accomplished, he holds an M.Sc. in Botany, an LLB, and completed his training at the Associates of Forest College in Dehradun. During his student days, he served as editor of the Osmania Hostel Magazine and as Senior House Monitor of ‘B’ Hostel. Later, he also served as President of the Co-operative House Building Society of Hyderabad.

Mr. Bhoomarajam’s wife, Sucheta, is an M.A. graduate. Their son, Ramnithin, completed his M.S. at Columbia University, and their daughter, Lakshmi Nitishna, earned her M.S. at the University of Chicago. Both currently reside in New Jersey, USA.

A visionary who wishes to see the Padmashali community excel in all fields, Mr. Bhoomarajam has consistently contributed his support and guidance to community activities. His life and service remain a shining example for today’s youth.
