Sri Kukudala Laxman is a gem of a man whose journey fills everyone with pride. Starting out as a photographer to earn a livelihood, he pursued his education with remarkable determination, entered the legal profession through sheer self-effort, and, through his talent and hard work, succeeded in competitive examinations to become a Civil Judge.
He is a native of Chityal mandal headquarters in Nalgonda district and was born on March 12, 1956, to Sri Kukudala Buchaiah and Smt. Parvatamma. After completing his Intermediate education, he began his family life in Chityal, working as a photographer and artist. He remained in that profession for 15 years, but his strong determination pushed him to continue his studies privately. He completed his B.A. and then turned his attention toward law. After finishing his law degree in Nanded, he practiced as an advocate for ten years.
In 1998, he cleared the High Court selection competition and was appointed as a Junior Civil Judge. By reshaping the course of his own life, he became an inspiration to society and earned the admiration of many. He served in the courts of Armur, Hyderabad Nampally, and Ramachandrapuram, and is currently discharging his duties in the Rangareddy district courts.
Although he lived a simple life for 15 years, his constant determination to prove his ability took him to a high position. His wife is Smt. Vijayalakshmi, and they have two daughters and one son.
