Sri Shyani Jagannadham Padmashali, who served as an exemplary judge for many years, was a true role model for future generations. He dedicated 30 years of his life to serving as a judicial officer, performing his duties impeccably without a single blemish. Born on November 6, 1938, in Palivela village of Munugode mandal in Nalgonda district, he was the fifth son of Shyani Gopayya and Ramulamma. He began his legal career by practicing as a lawyer in Nalgonda from 1964 to 1969. From 1969 to 1975, he worked as a public prosecutor before being appointed as a Munsiff Magistrate in 1976. In 1982, he served as a Sub-Judge, and later as an Additional District and Sessions Judge in Nizamabad and Guntur in 1990. In 1995, he became the Principal District Sessions Judge in Adilabad, a position he held until his retirement in 1996.
After retiring, he was appointed by the government as the Chairman of the Hyderabad Consumer Forum, where he served from 1997 to 2001. During this time, he resolved over 3,000 cases, setting a record. His excellent service led to thousands of complaints being filed with the forum. Recognizing his expertise, the government reappointed him as a Fast Track Judge in Hyderabad from 2001 to 2005.
Having served as a judge for almost three decades, he was the first among the Padmashali community to achieve such an honor, becoming a shining example for future generations. His wife, Sharada, was also an active member of the Padmashali Women’s Society, holding various responsibilities and providing valuable service to the community. Together, they had three sons and one daughter.
Committed to the advancement of the Padmashali community, Sri Jagannadham Padmashali not only dedicated his time to their cause but also provided financial assistance to encourage progress in all fields.
